The New Recessionaries

The New Recessionaries, my new favorite band. The idea here is based on an old 30s political cartoon.

Ancient Mayan God Yum Caax (Yummy Cakes) seen here threatened by evil Union Spirits. New evidence that the major cause of the collapse of the Mayan empire was unionization.

30 Park Sketches

I spend so much of my time working on these that I felt like sharing some.

Comicon Sketches

Comicon was so crowded and so busy that I didn't really stop to sketch much once inside. A semi trailer with a "Walking Dead" poster on it made me laugh because all of us nerds really did look like an unending sea of zombies.

Anyhow these few sketches were drawn either during my trolley ride out to the convention center, or from photos after the fact. Some of these are drawings of my favorite comic book artists, many of whom I got to chat with a little bit while I was there.
